Our Story

Born out of a deep passion for entertaining and a love of parties, Gallivant emerged to shake up what felt like a monotonous event market. We yearned to replace the conventional white tablecloths and rigid service with the vibrancy and ambiance one experiences and expected in a renowned bar or restaurant.

From our humble beginnings as caterers, Gallivant's journey has been an adventure of discovery and innovation. Recognising gaps in the market, we ventured beyond just catering to offer styling, event planning, and meticulous management. As each event unfolded, it became evident that the whole package - design, ambiance, and impeccable attention to detail - was what truly set an unforgettable event apart.

At the heart of Gallivant are Timothy Brennan and Katherine Etheridge, two individuals with a love of the finer things in life. Timothy kickstarted Gallivant right from his Bondi Beach apartment, bringing to the table an extensive fine dining restaurant background that honed his understanding of true hospitality.

Katherine, our director and visionary event stylist, brings an international flair to our designs. Her travels and work around the globe have honed her keen eye, transforming any space into a magical realm.
